Ultimate 5-a-side team: FINAL 5

So I have picked the final 5. This was so hard to do and to be honest there is no way of singling out the best 5 but this why I chose these particular players..

Neuer: I had to go with Neuer he is just too imposing not to put in your team. While you lose his capabilities as a sweeper keeper you still get one of the greatest goal keepers ever and a true giant of the game. He will make those goals looks tiny.

Nesta: All the defenders were great ball players but I just feel Nesta was just about the best, plus I think he was slightly more dynamic that the other three so would provide an all round better defensive game on the 5-a-side pitch.

Zidane: I simply couldn't leave out Zidane. His defensive capabilities coupled with his imperious grace and wisdom make him the perfect man to turn the cogs of any team. The better the players around him, the better he will be.

Ronaldinho: Of course I couldn't leave him out either. As I mentioned in his respective team analysis, with all the great talent on show, if he was at his very best he will properly be the man of the match. His pedigree for goals and skills made him unstoppable in his day and his attacking attributes would be perfect for 5-a-side.

Messi: You can't have a dream team with out Messi. He may be lazy at times but he will muck in if needed and his dribbling skills and creativity are beyond possibly anyone that has ever played the game.

Overall this team lack defence but has no shortage of players who understand the game. The problem will come from tracking over Messi and Ronaldinho losing one on one's because that won't happen. This team will play for possession and count on Nesta to put out a lot of fires in order to set them off again. I can't see this team being beaten because their presence of mind will be too strong. Each player will know where the others are with out having to look and not only that but they will be able find them. This is the Barcelona of 5-a-side.

In the end I decided it was too hard to pick the winner of those four teams however, if I did have to pick one it would be team 1. That is mainly because it has three of the players I put in my final five.
